About the position

The IT Project Manager at Gallagher plays a crucial role in providing technical assistance to employee end users, focusing on hardware issues, management, and upgrades. Responsibilities

  • Provide in-person assistance to employee end users for hardware issues and upgrades.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot a range of user problems including PC hardware/software/LAN and voice network.
  • Coordinate with internal support and operations groups and vendors to resolve problems.
  • Acquire, install, and upgrade PC components and software.
  • Plan for and respond to service outages and other problems.
  • Train users on new technology and software.
  • Set day-to-day operational objectives and KPIs for the team.
  • Define technical requirements and manage quality issues.
  • Handle routine problems and escalate when necessary.
  • Ensure IT compliance policies and procedures are understood and followed.

Requirements

  • University Degree and minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in program/portfolio management and project management.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in change planning, implementation, and management.
  • Capacity management and prioritization skills.
  • Vendor management experience.
  • Business/insurance acumen.
  • Familiarity with SCRUM, Agile, or similar project management methodologies.
