About the position

Adecco is seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager to lead and manage projects from initiation to completion for our client in Baltimore, MD. This role involves overseeing all aspects of a project, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate activities to ensure project goals are met.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, to provide regular project updates.
• Manage project budgets and ensure projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet established quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders and external partners.
• Facilitate productive project meetings and discussions to drive progress.
• Manage project documentation, including plans, schedules, and reports.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of project management best practices and processes.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience representing a business/business user group as a Project Manager (not IT Project Manager experience)
• PMP Certification
• Strong preference for experience in the utility industry
• Proven expertise in budgeting, planning, and business process improvement
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
