BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated IT Program Manager V for an opportunity in Charlotte, NC. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams such as a project or smaller program. This role involves communicating work objectives, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. The IT Project Manager ensures that execution and delivery meet the client's expectations in terms of functionality, quality, timeline, and cost. The position requires coordination and facilitation of routines to support delivery, such as kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates. The IT Project Manager will also be responsible for establishing and managing projects to collectively deliver desired business outcomes. This includes leading a variety of different types of projects utilizing several methodologies, including large-scale application development, systems integration, operational efficiency improvements, process reengineering, and infrastructure upgrades and deployments. The Project Manager may manage multiple projects and have end-to-end responsibility for the work effort, leading both technology and non-technology initiatives. Additionally, this role involves managing project financials and partnering closely with Line of Business Change Management teams to provide updates on technology deliverables. The individual in this role will be the primary point of escalation for technology issues, driving overall technology execution and managing line of business stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle. The IT Project Manager will plan, organize, monitor, and control projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion. They will develop and socialize potential risk mitigation strategies and effectively communicate with managers, peers, and business partners on deliverables, timelines, and support needed. The role requires strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
