About the position

The IT Project Manager at J5 Consulting will support the integration of custom data holdings and services across various teams and external users in a dynamic product delivery environment. The role involves managing requirements, providing assessments of processes, and ensuring the efficient delivery of data environment services to meet end-user needs. The position requires collaboration with technology teams to improve processes and support special projects involving advanced technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage requirements from receipt to delivery, working with diverse service delivery teams.
• Provide assessments of current work unit processes and recommend implementation plans.
• Support full-lifecycle planning and change management for a high operational tempo mission office.
• Sustain and evolve capabilities to capture user feedback on products and services.
• Provide documentation and SOPs for assessments and new processes implementation.
• Work closely with technology teams to improve processes and services.
• Identify efficiencies and develop processes to optimize delivery of capabilities and priorities.
• Support special projects involving advanced technology solutions for partner organizations.
• Provide technology evaluations to streamline processes and meet mission demands.
• Support the requirements management system for a multi-disciplined mission-focused team.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience standing up new workflows and supporting technology to track and manage requirements.
• Experience creating metrics and triage tools for assessing overall level of effort.
• Experience supporting big data environments and AI/ML solutions.
• Experience delivering advanced technology solutions.
• Experience with software engineering processes and multiple programming languages.
• Experience with sensitive data policy and workflows.
• Experience delivering iterative technology architectures for unmet mission needs.
• Experience leading data exploitation efforts for sensitive data.
• Experience implementing best practices in sensitive data environments.
• Experience taking data exploitation projects from conception to production.
• Experience implementing organizational governance structures for IT services.
• Experience delivering large-scale implementation of roadmaps for IT organizations.
• Experience creating project plans for complex systems.
• Experience organizing data to develop cost models.
• Experience developing strategic resource plans for enterprise-wide services.
• Experience leading development teams including ETL processes.
• Experience developing operational highlights linked to requirements.
• Experience with full-lifecycle strategic planning and change management.
• Experience supporting C-suite technology executives.
• Experience coordinating with technologists and senior executives for stakeholder content curation.
• Experience standing up governance processes for technology-centric organizations.
