As an IT Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that management reporting for the US Chief Information Officer (CIO) is both accurate and comprehensive. This includes responsibilities such as managing manco reporting, technology strategy metrics, and technology scorecards. You will collaborate closely with the US technology team and external stakeholders, including business management and Human Resources, to facilitate requests for technology staff and senior management. In this position, you will interface with GBGF teams across the US, providing support, expertise, and consultancy for US Technology Financial and Commercial activities. Your responsibilities will encompass managing global contracts and associated recoveries, ensuring timesheet, billing, and recharge accuracy, and overseeing GPDM BP ownership. You will also be involved in business continuity planning activities, resource management, and timesheet management and tracking. Building strong relationships with IT and other GBGF Business Management Teams will be essential, as you will utilize your expertise and experience to execute change efficiently and with minimal conflict. You will coordinate and deliver effective management information (MI) to support decision-making at key stakeholder meetings and Functional Executive Committees. Your contribution to fostering a high-performance culture through close team collaboration and collective responsibility will be vital. Additionally, you will leverage your professional knowledge to identify and champion innovative best practices, driving effective execution on various ad hoc projects and priorities assigned to the US IT function. You will also assist in role reviews, immigration requests, and the onboarding of contingency workers for technology roles.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and complete management reporting for US CIO, including manco reporting and technology strategy metrics.
  • Coordinate with US technology team and external stakeholders to support requests for technology staff and senior management.
  • Provide support, expertise, and consultancy for US Technology Financial & Commercial activities.
  • Manage global contracts and associated recoveries, ensuring billing and recharge accuracy.
  • Oversee GPDM BP ownership and business continuity planning activities.
  • Manage resource allocation and timesheet tracking.
  • Build strong relationships with IT and GBGF Business Management Teams to execute change effectively.
  • Deliver effective MI to support decision-making at key stakeholder meetings and Functional Exco's.
  • Contribute to a high-performance culture through team collaboration and collective responsibility.
  • Identify and champion new best practices and drive execution on ad hoc projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in project management; financial background is a plus.
  • Ability to coordinate across conflicting requests and prioritize competing demands.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of US technology and the broader organization, including its strategy and internal policies.
  • Ability to form effective relationships and influence at senior levels in the organization.
  • Necessity to make robust decisions that may be contrary to others' wishes.
  • Strong leadership and program management ability, with experience in developing and motivating cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to cope with pressure and tight deadlines, being change-oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain business and project deadlines.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
