About the position

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing technical IT projects, gathering customer requirements, and ensuring successful project delivery. This role involves coordinating with various teams, managing timelines and resources, and acting as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Act as the client's single point of contact for multiple medium to large scale complex application and database implementation projects.
• Independently manage projects from inception to installation, exercising project control and status reporting techniques.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies, formulate and define project scope, and define technical implementation steps.
• Drive project completion across cross-functional groups, anticipating and removing barriers.
• Engage customers throughout the project to gather requirements, solicit feedback, and provide guidance on the Matrix application.

Requirements

• BS degree in a related IT or business field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of directly related experience in product implementation or support, including leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of colleagues.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and consensus-building skills with cross-functional teams, management, and clients.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, business, and technical judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements and conditions immediately.
• Strong client orientation and customer service skills to understand and drive customer solutions.
• Ability to translate clients' business needs and present issues to a range of audience members.
• Familiarity with real estate concepts is a plus.
