About the position

As a Project Manager II at SNC, you will play a crucial role in managing projects of moderate visibility and complexity, either as a Control Account Manager on larger programs or as part of complex internal initiatives. This position involves overseeing multiple projects or one larger project under the supervision of a portfolio or program manager. You will be responsible for assembling project teams, assigning responsibilities, developing schedules, and ensuring timely project completion while interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a project of moderate visibility and complexity.
  • Oversee multiple projects or one larger project under general supervision.
  • Assemble project teams and assign individual responsibilities.
  • Identify appropriate resources needed for projects.
  • Develop project schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Track progress against milestones and budgetary guidelines.
  • Prepare reports to stakeholders regarding project status.
  • Interface with internal and external customers on technical matters.
  • Execute all aspects of the project lifecycle including proposal development, planning, execution, and closeout.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Typically 4+ years of progressive experience in project management roles or related fields.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects with multi-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and capability to meet schedules.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • At least 2 years of AI project management experience.
  • Understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
  • Knowledge of AI engineering and data science concepts.
  • Familiarity with specific AI frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).

Nice-to-haves

  • Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Experience managing projects requiring Earned Value Management.
  • Experience with risk management planning and documentation.
  • Experience managing project scope and scope creep during project execution.
  • Experience in resource planning and management during project execution.
