The IT Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple medium to large complex projects within the organization. This role requires a seasoned professional with over five years of experience in project management, demonstrating a strong ability to develop project approaches, plans, and schedules. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget while ensuring a high degree of user satisfaction and quality. The IT Project Manager will implement various project management principles and techniques, including the development and tracking of complex project plans, risk management, scope management, and resource management. In this position, the IT Project Manager will manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, tracking, and reconciliation. The role also involves managing complex relationships among customers and stakeholders, particularly those with significant executive oversight. The candidate should possess knowledge of product development principles and have experience in building coalitions among various stakeholders. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships is crucial for success in this role. The IT Project Manager will be expected to provide clear goals and responsibilities, along with measurable performance and feedback. Excellent analytical capabilities are necessary to break down complex ideas into manageable pieces, and the ability to identify and evaluate alternative solutions, costs, and benefits is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences, including the creation and presentation of executive summaries to steering committees and executive-level leadership. The candidate will also manage technical projects, addressing conflict resolution, issue escalations, status reporting, and resource management. Presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences are vital, as is proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Project, and Visio.

  • Proven track record in delivery of on-time, on-budget projects with a high degree of user satisfaction and quality.
  • Proven track record implementing varying principles and techniques of project management.
  • Experience in managing project financials (budgeting, forecasting, tracking and reconciliation).
  • Proven track record of managing complex relationships among customers and stakeholders on projects with significant executive oversight.
  • Knowledge of product development principles.
  • Proven track record of building coalitions among various stakeholders.
  • Experienced at establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Experienced with the principles of full life cycle systems design, development, and deployment.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities and the ability to breakdown complex ideas into manageable pieces.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical audiences.
