About the position

The IT Project Manager at Softinc is responsible for leading and managing strategic projects that align with the company's business goals. This role requires extensive project management experience and strong leadership capabilities to drive cross-functional teams toward successful project completion. The position involves project planning, stakeholder engagement, risk management, team leadership, performance tracking, budget management, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Utilize project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) to guide project phases from initiation to closure.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and stakeholders to gather requirements and align project goals.
• Facilitate regular communication with stakeholders through updates, presentations, and reports.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative culture.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor project progress and success.
• Prepare detailed project status reports for senior management.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of financial resources.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and best practices.

Requirements

• 7 years of experience in project management, particularly with large-scale and strategic projects.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery and team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in budget management and resource allocation.
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

• Experience in Information Technology is a plus.
