About the position

The IT Project Manager will oversee the lifecycle of the IT support services project for the Army Housing Division, ensuring timely completion of deliverables while adhering to Army and DoD standards. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing resources, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders to achieve project goals, including risk management, scheduling, budgeting, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Oversee project execution, including system implementation, technical support, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Ensure all project activities align with Army Housing Division goals and adhere to DoD and Army regulations.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and report on financial performance to senior management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication, ensuring project objectives are clearly understood and met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably within federal or military environments.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and delivering complex IT projects.
  • In-depth understanding of DoD and Army IT compliance standards, particularly related to housing systems.
