About the position

The IT Project Manager at Traeger Wood Pellet Grills will be responsible for organizing and coordinating cross-functional projects within the Technology team. This role requires a highly organized individual with a strong aptitude for managing multiple technical projects, ensuring that they align with business goals and are delivered on time and within scope.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Effectively communicate project expectations and statuses to team members and stakeholders.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
• Define project success criteria and disseminate them throughout the project life cycle.
• Conduct project postmortems and create recommendation reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope and devise contingency plans.

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of proven Project Management experience.
• PMP certification preferred, but not required.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and other project management tools.
• Strong written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to drive to big picture goals while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high-quality work.
• Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the outdoor cooking or BBQ industry.
• Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
