About the position

The IT Project Manager at Markon, LLC is responsible for managing IT projects from inception to completion, particularly for the Intelligence Customer. This role involves overseeing project schedules, documentation, and communication with various stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. The position emphasizes a collaborative environment where innovation and personal growth are encouraged, contributing to the company's mission of serving critical national interests.

Responsibilities

  • Manage IT projects from concept to completion.
  • Perform PMF programmatics for assigned IT project(s) including schedule management and control gates.
  • Track project schedule using MS Project and other visualization tools.
  • Conduct technical writing and project documentation.
  • Version control draft and baseline documentation.
  • Track Team/Project Action Items.
  • Handle project purchasing, documentation, and research.
  • Develop project schedules and timelines.
  • Create and present project briefings.
  • Produce project status reports.
  • Leverage experience across the Group and external offices.
  • Create/update project documentation including PMF deliverables.
  • Coordinate with Customer's security elements for Project Certification and Accreditation.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Experience managing technical/IT projects for the Customer.
  • Strong understanding of Customer field environment.
  • Ability to coordinate with internal/external Customers/Vendors to gather requirements and execute plans.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with Customer's Project Management Framework.
  • Working knowledge of Customer's official message system and internal policies.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Visio, and Access.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow and PowerBI.
  • Experience with Field Communications and coordination.
