About the position

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for guiding and coaching the Scrum Team in Agile practices to deliver high-quality products and services. This role involves driving projects through their life cycle, tracking progress, and coordinating resources while maintaining effective communication and transparency within the team and with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Guides and coaches the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services
  • Drives projects through the project life cycle, tracking progress, escalating issues, coordinating resources with management
  • Schedules, facilitates, and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, etc.
  • Maintains and publishes all project artifacts including but not limited to release log, issues log, resource schedule, testing schedule, agendas, and meeting minutes
  • Anticipates, identifies and escalates risks/impediments affecting self, team, department, or company
  • Tracks and monitors team performance daily and helps the team achieve their commitments, developing corrective actions when problems are identified
  • Assists with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
  • Looks for and suggests improvements in efficiencies to reduce costs and be responsible and accountable as an employee owner
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or business-related studies
  • Certifications for first level: CSM, PMI-ACP, PMP, PSM
  • 2-4 years of Project Management (Agile & Waterfall Methodology)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in team environment
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills that purvey within a Continuous Improvement and Curiosity based mindset
  • Ability to multitask
