About the position

As an IT Project Manager at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, you will play a pivotal role in organizing and driving forward multiple concurrent cloud migration initiatives for Treasury Services business lines. This position encompasses the entire project lifecycle from inception to completion, requiring meticulous planning, management, coordination, and communication of related workstreams. You will be a key partner within the organization, necessitating effective communication with colleagues, business stakeholders, vendors, and national IT partners, as well as teams across the Federal Reserve System and the U.S. Treasury. Your work will directly support a business line that is part of the Platform Evolution Program (PEP), which focuses on the migration of System applications to the cloud. In this role, you will be accountable for managing and coordinating various workstreams within the PEP program, ensuring adherence to the Project Management Improvement Act (PMIAA) and the Federal Reserve System IT program management standards and methodologies. You will collaborate with technical subject matter experts across technology, product, and operations teams to identify and manage work efforts, roadmaps, timelines, escalations, and strategic initiatives. Your responsibilities will include tracking milestones, deliverables, and dependencies, as well as preparing and presenting materials to executive and broader organizational audiences. You will engage with stakeholders to ensure the achievement of Business Value objectives through effective scope management, work prioritization, and resource allocation. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying, managing, and communicating risks, issues, and dependencies related to technology efforts and workstreams. Your role will also involve developing and managing status reporting, maintaining accurate project artifacts, and ensuring alignment with broader program, Bank, System, and industry policies and standards. Overall, your contributions will be essential in driving the success of cloud migration initiatives and enhancing the operational capabilities of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and drive concurrent cloud migration initiatives for Treasury Services business lines.
  • Manage and coordinate multiple concurrent workstreams within the PEP program.
  • Collaborate with technical subject matter experts to identify and manage work efforts, roadmaps, and timelines.
  • Track milestones, deliverables, and dependencies with product and development teams.
  • Prepare and present materials to executive and organizational audiences.
  • Engage with stakeholders to achieve Business Value objectives through effective scope management.
  • Identify, manage, and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies for technology efforts.
  • Develop and manage status reporting for technology efforts and workstreams.
  • Maintain accurate project artifacts including schedules, resource estimations, and issue management documentation.
  • Ensure alignment with broader PEP program, Bank, System, and industry policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 7 years of related work experience.
  • PMP certification preferred; relevant project management experience or comparable industry agile certifications will be considered.
  • Proven experience in managing and delivering large, complex projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation and presentation of executive materials.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Online.
  • Experience in technology coordination in areas such as architecture, security, testing, data, and integration.
  • Experience driving cloud implementations and working across product, engineering, and operations teams.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Native AWS tech stack.
  • Experience using agile methodologies.
