About the position

The IT Project Manager at SACRUM Technologies is responsible for managing multiple projects across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This role requires a blend of project management and business analysis skills, with a focus on delivering infrastructure-related projects and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders at all levels. The position operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring local candidates to work in the office three days a week while allowing remote work on Mondays and Fridays.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously through various stages of the SDLC.
  • Apply Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) methodologies, particularly Guide Five and Nine, and Agile methodologies.
  • Lead infrastructure-related projects including network upgrades, hardware procurement, and core technology application deployments.
  • Define systems strategy, develop requirements, design and prototype solutions, and implement business solutions under tight deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership and C-level executives.
  • Interface with senior-level stakeholders to partner on project scope, risk mitigation, and issue resolution.
  • Create and present executive-level presentations and communications.
  • Drive project activities through the SDLC, ensuring quality and timely delivery on budget.
  • Assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, develop schedules, and acquire necessary resources under senior leadership supervision.
  • Assist in communicating the business case to project teams to aid decision-making and prioritization.
  • Act as a liaison between technology/business stakeholders and senior leadership regarding project status, issues, and risks.
  • Create and maintain project plans, ensuring effective financial forecasting and tracking.
  • Collaborate with other technology and business organizations to agree on project scope and resource allocation.
  • Review and evaluate project work to ensure quality and adherence to organizational policies.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in project management with business analysis experience.
  • Intermediate knowledge of project management methodologies, including PMBOK and Agile.
  • Experience managing infrastructure-related projects such as network upgrades and application deployments.
  • Strong communication skills to present to all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
  • Ability to interface with senior-level stakeholders in IT and business units.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with AI tools for job description enhancement.
  • Familiarity with IT governance and reporting processes.
