About the position

As an IT Project Manager at Insight Global, you will play a crucial role in determining and defining project scope and objectives. You will be responsible for predicting the resources needed to reach these objectives and managing those resources in an effective and efficient manner. This includes preparing a budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements, as well as tracking project costs to ensure that the project remains within budget. You will develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan, providing consistent updates to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress throughout the project lifecycle. Utilizing industry best practices, techniques, and standards, you will execute the project while monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments. Your role will also involve measuring project performance to identify areas for improvement and leading technology core process improvement efforts. This position requires a proactive approach to project management, ensuring that all aspects of the project are aligned with the overall goals and objectives of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience in computer science, business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management and related experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Healthcare related knowledge is preferred, not required
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
