About the position

Genesis10 is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager for a 12+ month contract position in the financial industry. The role involves planning and driving the delivery of technology projects, ensuring alignment with project expectations in terms of functionality, quality, timeline, and cost. The IT Project Manager will work closely with multiple teams, manage project risks, and provide end-to-end visibility into project health while adhering to organizational governance and standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and drive the delivery of technology project/small program deliverables.
• Communicate work objectives and coordinate delivery across multiple teams.
• Facilitate sync points and provide end-to-end visibility into project health.
• Manage project risks and ensure compliance with standards.
• Deliver project status updates, executive summaries, and project governance artifacts.
• Ensure delivery meets expectations in functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.
• Support multiple workstreams across the Regulatory Reporting program.
• Manage complex regulatory-driven technology projects across multiple units.
• Lead and coordinate routines to support delivery, including kick-offs and status reviews.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to support deliverable completion.
• Provide status updates to stakeholders and leadership regarding delivery, risks, issues, and schedule.
• Support resource planning for delivery and execution.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Technology Project Management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong knowledge of agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience with change management processes including tollgates and risk management.
• Analytic thinker with strong executive communication skills.
• Demonstrates initiative and ownership in project management.
• Ability to negotiate with multiple parties and find acceptable compromises.
• Experience delivering significant enterprise-scale projects.
