Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for establishing and managing projects to collectively deliver desired business outcomes. The role involves leading a variety of different types of projects utilizing several different methodologies, including large scale application development, systems integration, operational efficiency improvements, process reengineering, and infrastructure upgrades and deployments. The IT Project Manager will manage multiple projects and may have end-to-end responsibility for the work effort, leading both technology and non-technology initiatives. In this position, the IT Project Manager will be responsible for project financials and will partner closely with Line of Business Change Management teams to provide updates on technology deliverables. They will also be responsible for the end-to-end technology delivery of the assigned project and will act as the primary point of escalation for technology issues. The role requires driving overall technology execution and managing line of business stakeholder relationships, acting as their advocate throughout the life of the project. The IT Project Manager will plan, organize, monitor, and control projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion. They will develop and socialize potential risk mitigation strategies and communicate with managers, peers, and business partners on deliverables, timelines, and support needed. Additionally, the IT Project Manager will partner with the business to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change. They will guide projects through all phases, ensuring required standards and processes are followed, required documents are completed, and required tracking systems are kept updated. The role also involves identifying, assigning, tracking, escalating, and resolving issues, as well as scheduling and facilitating regular meetings to review progress and status, formulating agendas, and documenting minutes and action items.
