About the position

The IT Project Manager at BSE Global is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, focusing on the administration of IT business applications. This role requires a strategic problem solver with strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of project and application management. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, dedicated to customer success through technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope and test plans in collaboration with business and IT partners.
• Apply project management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project work.
• Manage and update project plans through to completion.
• Set and manage expectations with team members.
• Lead project meetings and document scope changes, facilitating the approval process.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding of technology systems.
• Maintain issue, risks, and project logs, facilitating resolution of outstanding items.
• Implement communication plans and report project status regularly.
• Prepare for quality review checkpoints and secure necessary approvals.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Manage application upgrades, patches, and enhancements with minimal disruption to operations.
• Monitor application performance and reliability, addressing issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and data protection regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in IT project management and application management.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and applications simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
