About the position

The IT Project Manager will support the Network Enterprise Center at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey, focusing on classified and unclassified communication systems. This role involves overseeing quality assurance, system testing, and service level management while ensuring compliance with government standards and improving service delivery processes. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders and the ability to manage complex IT service delivery for a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Government's Quality Assurance program to improve the delivery of IT services.
  • Manage quality assurance for the task order and provide critical knowledge for mission success.
  • Identify trends in workmanship and processes, providing monthly reporting and documentation.
  • Maintain records and update databases, spreadsheets, charts, and graphs.
  • Provide suggestions to improve processes and resolve defects in workmanship.
  • Perform system testing for OSP and ISP cabling and report results to the NEC Project Manager.
  • Assist in arranging meetings for inspections and reviews related to communications construction.
  • Assess internal documentation to improve system documentation and support communications planning.
  • Provide Service Level Management Support Services and assist in developing SLAs for operational services.
  • Monitor and report Service Delivery to leadership and customers.
  • Provide training and guidance to IT support personnel.
  • Support after duty hour emergency maintenance requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in large-scale IT service delivery.
  • Possess an Intermediate certification for the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework role IT Project Manager.
  • Certified Cybersecurity Engineer (CCE), GIAC Foundational Cybersecurity Technologies (GFACT), GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), or GIAC Security Leadership (GSLC).
  • Intermediate proficiency with 70% of the KSAs associated with the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework role ID 802, Project Manager.
  • ITIL Foundation V4 certification.
  • Experience with ITIL processes and procedures, ITSM, Army IT Metrics program, and Army AITP Service catalog.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience supporting the U.S. Army or other DoD Agency.
  • Strong communication skills to interface with senior military officials and managers.
