We are currently searching for a talented IT Project Manager to join and grow with our Information Technology team! The SEH Information Technology team is dedicated to providing top-level service to our internal clients and ensuring the safety of our systems and data. Their scope includes direct customer service to employees, IT governance, infrastructure design and functionality, as well as cyber-threat protection. This team ensures we have the systems and support needed to successfully execute our work across the company. As an IT Project Manager, you will facilitate intake activities for assigned projects, including the creation of documentation, team identification, and kick-off meetings. You will manage and coordinate the delivery of multiple projects using SEH's IT Solutions Delivery process and the global standards of PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge). Regular communication with SEH IT stakeholders and managers will be essential, as you will ensure the integration of projects and adjust project scope, timing, and budgets as needed based on the needs of the business. You will track key project milestones and communicate adjustments to stakeholders, serving as the daily main point of contact for all project activities and questions for IT managers and stakeholders. In this role, you will assist the IT Solutions Delivery Team in establishing and refining standards and procedures for the IT Solutions Delivery process. You will organize and facilitate effective meetings with diverse project teams and utilize MS365 for real-time collaboration, document creation, reporting, and task tracking as necessary. Your efforts will also include facilitating the adoption of new or improved processes and/or procedures, and assisting the IT Solutions Delivery Manager with additional tasks and responsibilities as identified and mutually agreed upon.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate regularly with SEH IT stakeholders and managers via established meeting cadences.
  • Ensure integration of projects and adjust project scope, timing, and budgets as needed based on business needs.
  • Track key project milestones and communicate adjustments to stakeholders.
  • Serve as the daily main point of contact for all project activities and questions for IT managers and stakeholders.
  • Assist IT Solutions Delivery Team in establishing and refining standards and procedures for the IT Solutions Delivery process.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, business management, or a related field (or sufficient related experience).
  • Demonstrated ability to excel as a member of a professional team, contributing to project success and strategic goals.
  • Previous experience as a project coordinator or project manager in an IT or corporate setting, or equivalent experience in another industry.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment, deadlines, and new challenges.
  • Familiarity with MS365 productivity suite, including Word, Excel, MS Teams, and Sharepoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement technology solutions that deliver business value.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to present to groups, prepare strategic and tactical plans.
  • Ability to build strong business partner relationships.
  • Proven capability to excel in a remote work environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, collaborate with team members, and work independently.
  • Four or more years as a project manager or coordinator in an IT or corporate setting, or equivalent experience in another industry.
  • Formal training and/or certification in IT Project Management (APM, CAPM, or similar).
  • Membership and participation in IT or Project Management industry organizations.
  • Ability to communicate highly technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience or knowledge of NIST IT and ITIL controls and processes.
  • Application development and/or administration background.
  • Knowledge of the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.
