About the position

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing and delivering IT projects that align with the strategic goals of the organization. This role requires expertise in project management methodologies, particularly in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and proficiency in using Monday.com as a project management tool. The successful candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and scope.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into detailed project specifications.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business, its goals, and operations, leveraging this knowledge to align IT projects with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and tracking expenditures to maintain financial accountability.
  • Conduct triage of project requests, prioritizing based on business impact, resource availability, and strategic alignment.
  • Oversee the entire Software Development Life Cycle, ensuring quality standards are met throughout each phase of the project.
  • Utilize Monday.com to manage project timelines, resources, and tasks effectively, ensuring the platform is configured to meet project needs and promote team collaboration.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts on project delivery.
  • Facilitate smooth transitions during project implementation by engaging and supporting team members through effective communication, training, and resources, ensuring they understand and embrace new processes and technologies.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, with a focus on software development and project management methodologies.
  • Strong proficiency in Monday.com or similar project management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively translate technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of retail business and its operations, with a willingness to learn and adapt to its needs.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
