About the position

GEM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity IT Project Manager to oversee and manage technology projects at the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN. This full-time position requires an active DOE Q clearance or DoD Top Secret clearance. The role involves ensuring cybersecurity is integrated into projects, tracking project status, and coordinating with various stakeholders to achieve project goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, particularly in cybersecurity and IT, and will be responsible for delivering cloud enabling capabilities and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and directly manage technology projects, preferably multiple cybersecurity projects.
• Ensure cybersecurity is integrated into projects to protect critical infrastructure and assets.
• Track and communicate project status and demonstrate project value to the organization.
• Coordinate with department, project team, business unit managers, and project management office to achieve product-oriented outcomes.
• Create, revise, and execute project documentation including project management plans, communication plans, test plans, risk mitigation plans, and configuration management plans.
• Perform capabilities and requirements analysis and administrative planning activities.
• Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify critical technology procurement requirements and conduct audits.
• Define and manage day-to-day performance of operating-level agreements (OLAs) and service-level agreements (SLAs).

Requirements

• Active DOE Q clearance or DoD Top Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 5 to 10 years of related experience, or an Associate's degree in a technical field and 10 to 15 years of related experience.
• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and skills in a technical specialty.
• Experience delivering cloud enabling capabilities and managing technology projects.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Azure Dev Ops, and Agile methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
