About the position

As an IT Project Manager at NiSource, you will oversee various IT projects within the Project Management Office, managing everything from small to large-scale projects across corporate, customer, IT, and utilities portfolios. This role involves defining project scopes, managing deliverables, and ensuring alignment with project management methodologies to meet business goals. You will collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to prioritize projects and manage a two-year technology project roadmap, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication with technology partners.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage cross-functional IT projects, including application implementation and infrastructure initiatives.
• Work with business groups to create and manage project priorities, clearly communicating these priorities to technology partners.
• Create and manage a two-year technology project roadmap with high-level delivery milestones to manage stakeholder expectations.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time by proactively managing changes in project scope, identifying issues, and devising contingency plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management
• 3+ years of experience managing projects with budgets of $3M+
• Experience with resource capacity planning
