About the position

As an IT Project Manager at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), you will play a pivotal role in managing multiple IT projects that vary in size, scope, and complexity. This position is part of the US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation System eXtended (US BICES-X), a program that supports the Department of Defense (DoD) in intelligence information sharing regarding current and emerging global threats. You will be part of a cross-functional team that operates in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with technical team members located around the world to ensure the success of the program. Your responsibilities will include developing technical project plans, reports, and briefings, as well as conducting planning and providing recommendations to clients regarding task workloads. You will also serve as the primary liaison for clients, attending customer meetings and interacting with other agencies and client staff on their behalf. In this role, you will coordinate the development of deliverables and products, ensuring quality assurance of project outputs. You will be expected to maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and participate in special projects as required. The ideal candidate will have a passion for solving real-world issues and will be able to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while working in a dynamic environment. This position requires a proactive approach to project management and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple IT projects of varying size, scope, and complexity.
  • Develop technical project plans, reports, and briefings.
  • Conduct planning and provide recommendations to clients on task workload.
  • Attend customer meetings and serve as the primary client liaison.
  • Interact with other agencies and client staff on behalf of the client.
  • Coordinate the development of deliverables and products.
  • Ensure quality assurance of project deliverables.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
  • Participate in special projects as required.

Requirements

  • 5 years of related project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a relevant field.
  • Active/current Secret clearance.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial analysis of projects.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and SharePoint.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
