About the position

The IT Project Manager position at TipTop Turnkey in Texas is a full-time, contract role focused on leading the SHARP Portal initiative. This position requires a highly skilled project manager with a proven track record in managing complex projects, particularly within state or federal government agencies. The successful candidate will be responsible for laying the groundwork for the project, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring that all stakeholders are kept informed throughout the project lifecycle. The role demands exceptional collaboration skills to work effectively with both IT and program stakeholders, ensuring that project goals are met within the established timelines and budgets. As the project manager, you will oversee all aspects of the project, including planning, budgeting, and documentation. You will be tasked with coordinating efforts among team members and stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is aligned with the project objectives. The position also involves navigating the federal and state processes for project management, which requires a deep understanding of the regulatory environment and the ability to manage compliance effectively. This role is remote, but candidates must reside in Texas and be either US citizens or Green Card holders. Previous experience with Texas State Agencies is encouraged, as it will provide valuable insights into the specific requirements and challenges of managing projects in this context. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of project management experience, with a strong emphasis on enterprise-scale data management projects and a familiarity with the Texas Project Delivery Framework.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the SHARP Portal initiative as the project manager.

Requirements

  • 10 years of project management experience required.
  • 8 years of experience managing enterprise scale data management projects required.
  • 8 years of experience managing complex projects at state or federal government agencies required.
  • 3 years of experience with creating Texas Project Delivery Framework deliverables preferred.
  • 1 year of experience as a certified PMP preferred.
