About the position

The IT Project Manager will oversee the delivery of advanced digital solutions, working closely with clients to manage the development, deployment, and upgrades of IT systems and applications. This role involves collaborating with technical teams to identify client needs, develop project plans, and guide Agile development processes to support national security missions. The position requires a proactive approach to project management in a dynamic environment, ensuring high-value products are delivered to Air Force and Army clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of advanced digital solutions for clients.
  • Work closely with clients to develop, deploy, and upgrade IT systems and applications.
  • Identify client business needs and gather user requirements.
  • Develop project plans to support air defense missions.
  • Guide Agile development of project roadmaps and establish project milestones.
  • Implement metrics to track project progress and performance.
  • Collaborate with network architects, developers, and engineers to deliver high-value products.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, particularly in a technical or cyber operations environment.
  • Experience with project management software such as Jira, MS Project, or Trello.
  • Experience facilitating Agile events and knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of network and system engineering concepts.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical teams and use analytical skills to solve project challenges.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with IT systems and solutions, including installation and configuration management.
  • Ability to perform data entry, build project plans, and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.
