About the position

The IT Project Manager will take ownership of planning and managing customer projects within the IT infrastructure sector. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects remain on track with respect to costs and deadlines, while also developing comprehensive project plans and work packages. The IT Project Manager will act as the key liaison between internal and external IT teams, overseeing and coordinating all project activities, handling escalation management, and managing project reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of planning and managing customer projects in the IT infrastructure sector
• Ensure projects stay on track with costs and deadlines
• Develop comprehensive project plans and corresponding work packages
• Act as the key liaison between internal and external IT teams
• Oversee and coordinate all project activities
• Handle escalation management and project reporting/documentation

Requirements

• Proven experience in project management, ideally within the IT sector
• Structured and strategic way of thinking
• IT process know-how and IT infrastructure knowledge are an advantage
• IPMA level C/D or Prince2-Foundation certification is a plus
• Excellent English communication skills (basic German is a plus)
• Great people skills with a confident, assertive personality
• Strong organizational skills and team-player mentality
• Ability to work independently while enjoying collaboration
