About the position

Genesis10 is seeking an IT Project Manager for a contract position in the financial industry, responsible for planning and delivering technology projects across multiple teams. The role involves managing project risks, ensuring compliance with standards, and providing visibility into project health. The IT Project Manager will support various workstreams, particularly in Regulatory Reporting, and will be expected to have a strong background in technology project delivery within the banking sector.

Responsibilities

• Planning and driving the delivery of technology project/small program deliverables.
• Communicating work objectives and coordinating delivery across teams.
• Providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables and managing project risks.
• Ensuring delivery meets expectations in functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.
• Supporting multiple workstreams across the Regulatory Reporting program.
• Managing complex regulatory-driven technology projects across multiple units.
• Leading and coordinating routines to support delivery, such as kick-offs and status reviews.
• Facilitating communication and collaboration across organizations to support deliverable completion.
• Providing status updates to stakeholders and leadership regarding delivery, risks, issues, and schedule.
• Supporting resource planning for delivery and execution.

Requirements

• 7 to 12 years of applicable experience
• 10+ years of Technology Project Management experience
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
• Strong knowledge of agile delivery
• Strong knowledge of change management processes
• Excellent executive communication skills
• Demonstrates initiative and ownership
• Ability to negotiate with multiple parties
• Ability to manage in a time-constrained environment
• Ability to structure a project and its tasks clearly
• Experience delivering significant enterprise-scale projects
• Strong collaboration skills
