The IT Project Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Information Resources Management and Technical Services Unit (IRM&TS) at the Congressional Budget Office (CBO). This position is primarily remote, with occasional on-site work required in Washington, DC. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for assisting in strategic planning, project tracking, and the development of essential documents and presentations that facilitate the smooth operation of IT projects. The role requires a collaborative approach to oversee the design, management, delivery, enhancement, and modernization of the current network infrastructure, ensuring that all projects align with the strategic goals of the organization. In this position, the IT Project Manager will assist in managing and tracking the IT strategic plan, ensuring that tasks and projects are prioritized and executed in a timely manner. This includes revising and maintaining a comprehensive roadmap for IT infrastructure projects and upgrades. The IT Project Manager will provide project management support that encompasses budget and cost analysis, project scheduling, and the development of policies, procedures, and work instructions related to IT projects. Additionally, the role involves conducting technical reviews of IT tasks, offering recommendations and advice to CBO employees, and preparing program plans and contract cost analyses.
