About the position

The IT Project Manager at WellBiz Brands is a proactive leader responsible for managing the implementation of business applications and ensuring the successful delivery of technology projects across various business units. This role involves coordinating project direction, implementation, and completion while aligning with company strategy and IT commitments. The IT Project Manager will facilitate integration, change, and risk management, acting as a bridge between different business units and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic alignment with technology leadership and cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project needs.
• Facilitate organizational change and manage dependencies affecting project delivery.
• Lead cross-functional project teams, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Research market requirements and technology trends to inform product strategy and roadmaps.
• Lead IT Steering Committee meetings to review project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Ensure business process strategies are reflected in the project portfolio and manage resource expectations.
• Collaborate with CTO, VP, and Directors on project justifications and budget planning.
• Drive execution of projects, managing budgets, schedules, resources, and benefits realization.
• Document technology initiatives pre and post-implementation.
• Ensure resource availability and gain commitment from leadership for project schedules.
• Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to define business requirements and align project delivery plans.
• Manage relationships with IT leadership and third-party teams for effective project delivery.
• Standardize and implement methods, processes, and tools across the organization.
• Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs, keeping stakeholders informed.
• Maintain relationships with internal customers and key stakeholders across brands.
• Establish relationships with third-party vendors to ensure quality delivery of components.
• Promote effective teamwork and partnership spirit.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in project management tools and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field.
• 3-5 years of project management experience with PMI/PMP certification.
• Ability to manage Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project methodologies.
• Strong background in managing business applications implementation.
• 3-5 years of exposure to industry-leading business applications, preferably in Salon/Spa/Beauty and Wellness.
• Technical background with hands-on experience in software development, infrastructure, and web technologies.
• Experience in risk identification, management, and mitigation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple competing project workloads and activities.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills with attention to detail and multi-tasking capabilities.
