About the position

The IT Project Manager at GenScript will lead the delivery and project management of specified projects within the biotechnology sector. This role involves developing implementation plans, coordinating contributions from cross-functional teams, and ensuring that services are delivered in line with proposed solutions and timelines. The position requires effective stakeholder engagement, project progress reporting, and the identification of new revenue opportunities, all while supporting the overall profitability goals of the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead on delivery/project management of specified projects, including the development of implementation plans and coordination of contributions from cross-divisional and cross-functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Ensure the delivery of services is in line with the proposed solution within agreed timelines.
• Contribute to the team's profitability goals by achieving billable time targets and delivering projects efficiently.
• Create and update project plans and any required documentation.
• Effectively engage and involve internal stakeholders during the development and delivery of consulting services.
• Present/report back on project progress to key stakeholders and manage internal stakeholder involvement and expectations.
• Identify new revenue opportunities within existing clients.
• Proactively liaise with internal stakeholders to support existing applications.
• Understand client strategic needs and support business opportunities by liaising with appropriate SMEs.
• Demonstrate good business acumen and focus on commercial objectives such as profitability.
• Develop processes and infrastructure to support team expansion.
• Support other team members in project delivery and research.

Requirements

• 2-3 years relevant project management experience preferred.
• Ability to effectively project manage multiple projects and work to defined timescales.
• Capable of coordinating project teams.
• Ability to think creatively and contribute to ideas generation.
• A 'roll up your sleeves' mentality, deadline-focused, attention to detail.
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills; experienced networker and relationship builder.
• A strategic thinker with an ability to drive implementation.
• Prefer Bilingual (English, Mandarin).
