About the position

The IT Project Manager will oversee the full life cycle of software development projects, utilizing Agile methodologies to manage tasks and deliverables. This role involves leading development teams, collaborating with clients, and continuously improving processes to enhance project efficiency. The manager will establish project milestones, implement metrics for tracking progress, and drive the Agile development of project roadmaps in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of advanced digital solutions.
  • Lead development teams and provide input in planning, design, and development.
  • Instill Agile practices and seek opportunities for process improvements.
  • Work with project teams to enhance speed and efficiency of build and test processes.
  • Establish project milestones and implement metrics to track progress.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business partners, developers, and architects to define product backlogs and complete release planning.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in information technology.
  • 2+ years of experience with project management, including initiating, planning, scheduling, estimating, forecasting, coordinating, controlling, managing, and delivering IT projects.
  • Experience with Agile processes and Scrum ceremonies, including managing and facilitating backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, demos, or retros.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, development of user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ability to develop content, facilitate conversations, and brief leadership, clients, and staff.
  • Ability to ensure processes, quality management, risk management, and security.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with requirements management and wireframe development.
  • Experience with user-centric and human-centered design.
  • Experience with development, database design, automated testing, performance tuning, or configuration and release management.
  • Knowledge of Application and Data Security.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Services.
  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
