About the position

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management and delivery of a material change for a project of high complexity across multiple departments and business units. This role requires managing, leading, and directing the work efforts of resources that may be functionally aligned as part of the project and/or organizationally aligned as direct reports. The IT Project Manager will also be responsible for the end-to-end integration of various work streams to deliver the intended project solution. In this position, the IT Project Manager will manage the project scope, timeline, and budget/expenses. They will obtain and align resources to key project roles, establish clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities, and oversee/manage/lead project execution, integration, and implementation. Risk management and mitigation planning will also be a critical part of this role, along with readiness/change adoption and stakeholder management. Quality assurance is essential to ensure that all applicable change requirements are satisfied. The IT Project Manager will act as the primary point of contact and integration for the project and may also serve as a Programmer Manager on an interim basis when required. Additionally, the ability to represent or deputize senior project stakeholders when necessary is expected.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for end-to-end management and delivery of a material change for a project of high complexity across multiple departments across multiple business units

• Responsible for the end-to-end integration of various work streams to deliver the intended project solution
• Manage Project Scope, Timeline and Budget/Expenses; obtain and align resources to key project roles; establish clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities
• Oversight/Manage/Lead project execution, integration and implementation; Risk Management and Mitigation Planning; Readiness / Change Adoption/Stakeholder Management
• Quality Assurance, ensure that all applicable change requirements are satisfied
• Act as the primary point of contact and integration for the project
• Acts as a Programmer Manager if required on an interim basis
• Ability to represent / deputies senior project stakeholders where required

• Aptitude to get an Application Landscape view at a high level and understand Digital Landscape and Mobile
• Good team player and effective communication
• Ability to work independently with little direction
