About the position

The IT Project Manager at Iowa 80 Truckstop is responsible for overseeing a variety of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet the company's business objectives. This role involves compiling project status reports, coordinating schedules, managing meetings, and resolving technical issues. The IT Project Manager will work closely with end-users to define project requirements and will utilize data analytics to enhance project outcomes. This position is integral to the Information Technology Department and aims to improve the organization's reputation by delivering high-quality technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Compile project status reports and coordinate project schedules.
• Manage project meetings and identify technical problems with IT projects.
• Identify and analyze system requirements and define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
• Coordinate project activities and ensure all project phases are documented appropriately.
• Work closely with end-users to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
• Collaborate with IT leadership to plan, manage, and implement major IT projects.
• Utilize data analytics to identify areas of improvement using technology.
• Oversee all aspects of assigned projects and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor project progress.
• Ensure the security and privacy of business information.
• Deliver and install technology solutions as needed.
• Manage all project documentation, including updating the Microsoft Project scheduler.

Requirements

• Experience coordinating and/or supporting IT business processes.
• Ability to organize and communicate while managing multiple ongoing projects.
• Project Management experience with Software Development Projects.
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including importing/exporting data, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Visio for network and systems diagramming.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with networking infrastructure administration.
• Knowledge of desktop support and retail point of sale systems.
