About the position

The IT Project Manager at Modis is a consultant role focused on delivering innovative IT solutions to clients in the Minneapolis market. This position emphasizes the importance of strategic project management, collaboration with stakeholders, and the ability to manage technology projects that add business value. The role requires a proactive approach to project planning and execution, ensuring that projects are completed within the agreed time and budget constraints.

Responsibilities

• Provide tactical management, administration, and leadership throughout project teams.
• Develop and deliver project plans within agreed tolerances of time and budget.
• Work in partnership with various business and technical stakeholders.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary global project teams to deliver technology projects of varying size and complexity, particularly software projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years of formal Project Management experience.
• Knowledge of multiple PM methodologies such as Agile, Iterative, Waterfall, RUP, RAD, Scrum, JAD, SDLC, etc.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping people solve problems.
• PMP Certification is preferred but not always required.
