About the position

Genesis10 is seeking an IT Project Manager for a 12+ month contract position in the financial industry. The role involves planning and coordinating project deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations, and facilitating communication across multiple teams to support project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate the execution of project/small program deliverables which requires the engagement of multiple teams
  • Communicate work objectives, coordinate delivery, facilitate sync points across teams, provide end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables, and manage program risk and compliance to standards
  • Ensure delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of functionality, quality, timeline, and cost
  • Lead and coordinate routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates, etc.)
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline
  • Provide status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks, issues, and schedule
  • Work with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements

Requirements

  • 5 years Project Management experience
  • Manages coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects at various stages of the project life cycle
  • Problem Solving & Communications Skills, including significant experience facilitating communication among technologists, technology managers, and non-technology managers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Well-organized and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter and ability to think and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to identify, resolve or escalate issues to ensure that program timelines are met
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to effectively collaborate with others in different locations
