About the position

The IT Program Manager at AppTad Technologies Pvt Ltd is responsible for strategic IT project and portfolio management within a specific business sector, such as Finance or Operations. This role involves maintaining IT standards and long-term goals, managing staff, and coordinating with stakeholders. The position also requires overseeing multiple IT projects and ensuring the effective implementation of enterprise systems, particularly in HR and payroll processes using Oracle Fusion.

Responsibilities

• Act as the IT relationship manager to the business area, managing and prioritizing the project portfolio.
• Provide consulting services for building business cases for new projects and facilitate business process analysis.
• Lead the implementation of project management best practices and methodologies.
• Manage multiple full cycle project implementations, tracking performance, effectiveness, risks, and ensuring quality and consistency.
• Supervise and provide personnel performance management for business analysts and development staff.
• Participate in and support strategic business operating plans to maintain organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
• Establish and enforce organization standards to maintain quality service.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, business, or a related area.
• 5-7 years of experience in implementing and upgrading enterprise systems.
• Proven leadership and experience as a senior resource in defining system scope and gathering business requirements.
• Technical specifications, security and capacity implications, functional configuration, testing/pilot, and client user training experience.

Nice-to-haves

• PMP certification preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of program management methods and principles.
• Knowledge of the advantages, disadvantages, functional capabilities, and limitations of computer systems.
• Familiarity with common business methods and procedures.
