About the position

Genesis10 is seeking an IT Project Manager for a 12+ month contract position in the financial industry. The role involves managing medium-sized technology projects, leading cross-domain initiatives, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, particularly in financial services, and possess excellent presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage medium-sized technology projects in the financial industry.
• Lead cross-domain and enterprise-wide technology projects.
• Summarize and simplify complex problems for stakeholders.
• Work efficiently with matrixed teams to achieve project goals.
• Utilize project management tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, and MS Visio.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a technology project manager.
• Agile certification is required.
• Expertise in PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, and MS Visio.
• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in SQL and Tableau.
