About the position

MBL Technologies is seeking an IT Project Manager to support and enhance organizational initiatives through effective project management and technical writing. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and effective communication to address customer requirements and drive successful project outcomes. The IT Project Manager will directly manage information technology projects, ensuring successful service delivery and compliance with cybersecurity and performance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary stakeholder in IT operational processes and functions.
  • Coordinate and manage the overall service provided to a customer end-to-end.
  • Develop system, network, performance, and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Ensure appropriate Service-Level Agreements (SLAs) are defined and monitored.
  • Gather feedback on customer satisfaction and internal service performance.
  • Identify and address cyber workforce planning and management issues.
  • Lead and oversee budget, staffing, and contractual performance of project work.
  • Manage internal relationships with IT process owners supporting the project.
  • Participate in the acquisition process as necessary.
  • Perform needs analysis to determine opportunities for new and improved business process solutions.
  • Provide advice on project costs, design concepts, or design changes.
  • Work with service managers and product owners to balance and prioritize services.
  • Conduct import/export reviews for acquiring systems and software.
  • Develop methods to monitor and measure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts.
  • Ensure all acquisitions address information security requirements.
  • Provide ongoing optimization and problem-solving support.
  • Review or conduct audits of IT projects.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of procurement function in addressing information security requirements.

Requirements

  • Seven (7) + years of relevant cybersecurity academic credentials.
  • Advanced degree in a technical/cyber-related field.
  • Ability to ensure security practices are followed throughout the project acquisition process.
  • Ability to evaluate/ensure the trustworthiness of the project supplier and/or required products.
  • Ability to oversee the development and update of the project life cycle cost estimate.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of capabilities and requirements analysis.
  • Knowledge of Cloud-based knowledge management technologies and concepts related to security, governance, procurement, and administration.
  • Knowledge of functionality, quality, and security requirements for specific items of supply.
  • Knowledge of import/export control regulations and responsible agencies for reducing supply chain risk.
  • Knowledge of organizational process improvement concepts and process maturity models.
