About the position

The Project Manager is responsible for implementing, managing, and controlling all project directives related to contracts, ensuring timely accomplishment of specified requirements. This role involves working closely with senior management to establish program priorities and overseeing contract personnel while adhering to established policies and budgetary constraints. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver support services across various domains including Azure Cloud Development, Data Engineering, Cyber Security, and Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all aspects of project management are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Review project proposals or plans to determine timeframe, funding limitations, procedures, staffing requirements, and resource allocation.
  • Assist in the preparation of contract deliverables.
  • Prepare project charts and schedules as needed.
  • Perform job cost analysis.
  • Maintain solid customer relationships and assure customer satisfaction with project execution.
  • Manage and assist in developing and maintaining IT programs as requested, in accordance with approved design requirements.
  • Ensure employees apply expertise on complex work assignments, developing methodologies and offering solutions to problems.
  • Coordinate responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotes (RFQs), including cost estimates and proposals.
  • Implement industry best practices, project management tools, and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years' relevant experience in a Project Management role or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience managing enterprise IT support projects for the Federal Government is required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA), CPIC, SDLC, IT Security Management, and Risk Management.
