About the position

As an IT Project Manager at ITCONNECTUS INC, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing various IT projects from inception to completion. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, update, and manage comprehensive project plans that encompass critical elements such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing. You will ensure that all project milestones are met and that the projects align with the overall strategic goals of the organization. In addition to project planning, you will be responsible for developing and directing software system testing and validation procedures. This includes creating programming and documentation to ensure that all specifications are met and that the final product meets the quality standards expected by stakeholders. Your role will require you to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle. Given the nature of the projects, you may be required to travel or relocate to various unanticipated worksite locations throughout the U.S. This aspect of the role emphasizes the need for flexibility and adaptability in managing project demands across different environments. Your expertise in project management will be crucial in navigating these challenges and delivering successful outcomes.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Business Administration.
