About the position

The Wireless Communication Commission (WCC) is seeking an IT Project Manager I to oversee project management tasks, including the analysis and verification of technical and administrative processes related to asset management, fleet management, and procurement requests. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively communicate and collaborate with team members while managing various projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage project tasks related to asset management, inventory, and property insurance.
• Oversee fleet management processes and ensure compliance with state/local memorandums of understanding.
• Review and analyze state/local procurement requests.
• Verify the accuracy and completion of technical and administrative processes.
• Assist with other projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in project management or related areas.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft 365.
• Strong written grammar skills and knowledge of office procedures and accounting practices.
• Familiarity with State of MS procurement rules and regulations.
