About the position

Acuity Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Reston, VA. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for organizing, directing, and managing contract operations support functions for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) tasks. You will prepare both long and short-range plans for the systems' O&M and necessary support resources, ensuring that all technical solutions and activities adhere to the performance work standards of the task. Your expertise will be crucial in driving the process for our demanding clients, as you will work across multiple product teams to deliver innovative experiences that our customers rely upon. You will leverage your strong communication skills to interact with clients and stakeholders, ensuring that project goals are met and that the team is aligned with the client's needs. Responsibilities

• Organize, direct, and manage contract operations support functions for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) tasks.
• Prepare long and short-range plans for the systems' O&M and necessary support resources.
• Ensure overall management of specific tasks and adherence to performance work standards.
• Drive the process for demanding clients across multiple product teams.
• Deliver innovative experiences that meet customer needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT Management or equivalent related field experience.
• PMP certification required, PMI preferred.
• ITIL certification.
• 8 years or more of relevant experience supporting Enterprise Information Technology.
• Expertise in implementing Data Warehouse/Management projects.
• Project Management experience in an Operations and Maintenance environment.
• 3 or more years of experience in a client-facing role, preferably with federal clients.
• Knowledge of developing, implementing, and monitoring IT program and project delivery.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint.
• Strong communication (written and oral), presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to take initiative, manage own workload, and assume responsibility for tasks.
• Ability to multi-task, handle multiple projects, and meet internal and client deadlines.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and innovative thinking.
