About the position
The IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing IT projects in Northern Virginia. This role requires a TS/SCI clearance and involves the delivery of quality services and products to customers. The IT Project Manager will oversee day-to-day management of personnel and technical tasks, plan and coordinate project activities, and serve as the primary interface for project customers. The position also includes ensuring that project staff are adequately trained and approving project deliverables.
Responsibilities

- Technical solution, cost, and schedule management
- Interface for project customer
- Ensuring that project staff are adequately trained for project assignments

Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Experience managing and working with project teams
- Facility with using common office applications to include Microsoft Projects
- Understanding of best IT practices
- ITIL v3 certification
- Familiarity with customer IA C&A processes for classified networks
Nice-to-haves
- PMP certification
- Expert in ITIL processes
- Experience in delivering an IT managed service
- Strong technical understanding of IT systems and networks
- Experience in managing software development projects
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps
