About the position

The IN-INDOT Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for designing, planning, and coordinating IT work teams while adhering to standard project management practices such as the PMI framework. This role requires managing technical, software, and data-centric IT projects, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Designs, plans, and coordinates IT work teams.
• Follows standard project management industry practices such as the PMI framework.
• Understands business and technical objectives of a project and works closely with the project sponsor.
• Creates project kickoff, progress, and close-out reports, tracking budget and schedule progress via appropriate metrics.
• Establishes project organization and methodologies, defining roles and responsibilities.
• Documents risks and develops mitigation plans.
• Manages project scope and implements a communication plan as appropriate.
• Builds an effective team inclusive of IT technical and business-facing subject matter experts and user testers.
• Assigns tasks to team members and evaluates outcomes.
• Communicates to stakeholders and project sponsor.
• Identifies, tracks, and ensures resolution of issues and removal of barriers.
• Provides technical support to project team members.
• Handles complex application features and technical designs.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of project management experience.
• Experience managing technical, software, and/or data-centric IT projects with 10 or more staff.
• Proficient in SDLC and Azure DevOps with at least 6 years of experience in each.
• PMP certification is preferred.
