About the position

We are looking for a candidate for the immediate requirement of 'IT Project Manager' position. The role involves managing project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope, while monitoring and tracking milestones and deliverables. The candidate will assess customer needs and priorities, initiate and review modifications to project plans, and be responsible for migrating IT Service Management functions and application integrations from BMC Footprint environment to ServiceNow (SNOW) version. Additionally, the candidate will implement new functionalities within SNOW and understand requirements from service management process owners to translate them into functional and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project execution to show adherence to budget, schedule and scope.
  • Monitor and track milestones and deliverables.
  • Assess customer needs and priorities.
  • Initiate and review modifications to project plans.
  • Responsible for migrating IT Service Management functions and application integrations from BMC Footprint environment to ServiceNow (SNOW) version.
  • Implement new functionalities within SNOW.
  • Understand requirements from service management process owners to translate them into functional and technical requirements.
  • Prepare high and low level design of the technical requirements.
  • Provide technical assistance; guide with design, approach and architectural decisions.
  • Collaborate with process owners to design, develop, test and implement change requests including Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, and IT Project Management.
  • Responsible to deliver end to end methodologies within ServiceNOW including architecting technical implementation of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes.
  • Organize and prioritize development effort, interface with vendors & management, and coordinate with administrators.

Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field in Engineering.
  • 5 years of progressive experience (combination of degrees or experience to equate to a bachelor's degree is acceptable) or Master's degree with 2 years of experience.
  • Experience in managing site wide infrastructure and new/existing program expansion projects.
  • Experience in skills such as IT policies and procedures, Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, and Service Delivery Management.
  • Must possess ServiceNow certifications as System Administrator, Application Developer, Implementation Specialist and Master Architect.
