About the position

The Group IT Project Manager at Rexel USA is a pivotal role within the Integration Factory Team, responsible for managing and delivering multiple integration projects. This position oversees the entire project lifecycle, ensuring effective planning, implementation, and communication among stakeholders. The role emphasizes collaboration, quality work, and adherence to project governance, making it essential for the success of the organization's digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Assume ultimate responsibility for all aspects of North American projects.
  • Oversee planning and implementation of projects through estimation and defining governance.
  • Ensure receipt of complete, documented detail requirements from the country IT project team.
  • Collaborate with onsite/offshore development leaders to plan and schedule activities.
  • Ensure all technical documentation is produced and stored correctly.
  • Serve as the primary representative for the Integration Factory.
  • Host project meetings with team and managers.
  • Request, review, approve, and deliver Partner statements of work (SOW).
  • Produce and distribute weekly status reports to all project stakeholders.
  • Plan, manage, and ensure appropriate communication of all test activities.
  • Review and approve Partners' reported project SLA KPIs.
  • Document and share lessons learned prior to project closure.
  • Collaborate with Digital & Data Factory colleagues to implement improvements.
  • Set up indicators for monitoring project performance, costs, and timescales.
  • Coordinate with the Run team in case of production incidents.
  • Assist the Build 2 Run processes and support the build team in delivering operational documentation.
  • Communicate project status, provide feedback, and share lessons learned.
  • Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders regarding risks and action plans.

Requirements

  • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
  • Graduate Degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of professional experience.
  • 7+ years in integration-oriented projects.
  • More than 5 years of experience as a Project Manager.
  • Experience in AGILE project delivery (Scrum, KANBAN, SAFe).
  • Working experience with offshore teams, preferably in India.
  • Proven experience in Integration or Technical Project Manager roles.
  • Experience deploying a DevOps delivery approach.
  • Expertise in Information Technology systems.
  • Strong knowledge of IT organization and integration platforms (Ipaas, ESB, middleware architecture).
  • Good knowledge of project management solutions (MS Project, Jira preferred).
  • Understanding of eCommerce platforms and cloud platforms.
