About the position

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing multiple IT projects within the organization, ensuring they align with strategic goals and are delivered on time and within budget. This role requires expertise in project management methodologies, particularly in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and proficiency in using project management tools like Monday.com. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable project plans.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and scope.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into detailed project specifications.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business, its goals, and operations to align IT projects with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and tracking expenditures.
  • Conduct triage of project requests, prioritizing based on business impact, resource availability, and strategic alignment.
  • Oversee the entire Software Development Life Cycle, ensuring quality standards are met throughout each phase of the project.
  • Utilize Monday.com to manage project timelines, resources, and tasks effectively, ensuring the platform meets project needs.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts on project delivery.
  • Facilitate smooth transitions during project implementation by engaging and supporting team members through effective communication, training, and resources.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, with a focus on software development and project management methodologies.
  • Strong proficiency in Monday.com or similar project management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively translate technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of retail business and its operations, with a willingness to learn and adapt to its needs.
