About the position

The IT Project Manager will oversee end-to-end technology programs and projects within the financial industry, specifically focusing on IT implementations, upgrades, and recovery efforts. This role requires managing multiple projects or a significant single project, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering required outcomes. The position demands strong financial management skills and the ability to communicate effectively across various organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Supports End to End Technology for programs and projects
• Performs project management responsibilities relating to information technology implementations, upgrades, conversion and recovery
• Manages multiple projects or a single major project
• Manages the release activities and responsible for all MRA2 required deliverables for acceptance and entry into the release
• Works with Service Delivery Lead, Analyst for alignment of MSPIs assigned to a release
• Solicits and assists the AIT application owners for release CRQ submission and tracks progress
• Requests and receives AIT estimates for release; confirms funding commitments for release
• Coordinates and oversees release weekend activities (control room, status reports, defect monitoring)
• Manages complex Merchant Services suite of projects

Requirements

• 5-7 years of applicable experience
• Strong financial management skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and navigate at all levels in the organization
• Executive reporting and presentation skills
• Highly organized with critical thinking abilities at both the strategic and tactical levels
• Experience delivering large projects with significant impact to multiple lines of business, that may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications
